Hi everyone!

I was born in 1989 and grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut. After graduating high school I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC for a BFA in Cartooning. I've been living and working in Brooklyn since graduation in 2011.

I've always had a passion for art, especially art with a storytelling purpose. Whether it was biblical renaissance paintings, editorial illustrations or long-running comic book stories, the art that resonated with me the most has always shown or suggested an in-depth world and narrative. Since as far back as I can remember, I've tried to communicate that same sense of a wider world in my own work.

I come from a big and ecclectic family of artists from my mom Lizzy Rockwell (children's illustrator), my grandmother and grandfather Anne and Harlow 'Rocky' Rockwell (children's illustrators), my grandfather John Alcorn (Illustrator and graphic designer), my aunt JoLynn Alcorn (Graphic designer), my uncles David Brion (cartoonist) and Stephen Alcorn (printmaker), my cousins Julianna Brion (illustrator) and Antonio Alcorn (Musician in the band 'Poor Old Shine') and of course my brother Nigel (industrial designer), who have all been enormous influences and inspirations to me and my work. As you can probably tell, I've been doomed to pursue a life as an artist from day one...

Apart from art I'm a big enthusiast for history, film, video games, stand-up comedy, rugby, the New York Giants and hip-hop.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my work!

Peace.
